You will not be charged straight away - you will have a 7 day free trial. You will be charged after your 7 day trial ends. That is when your billing period will begin. For example, if you purchase a Monthly plan on May 2nd, you will be charged on May 9th and again on June 9th. The same goes for the Quarterly (you will be charged every 3 months) and Yearly plans.

No - you will never be double-charged. If you switch to a Yearly Plan while you have time left on a Quarterly Plan, you will be charged a pro-rated amount to compensate for the time you have left on your Quarterly Plan - you will not pay the full Yearly Plan price.
Yes, e.g. if you join the A2 group and the level is not high enough, you can switch to the B1 group and keep the exact same subscription. Email or message Rónán Discord.
Yes, as long as you have the appropriate speaking level for the higher group. For example, if you are in C1, you can join that group and you can also join the B1/B2 group at no extra cost. Just message or email Rónán once you have joined to do so.
A2 - Just after beginner level. You can have a basic conversation about everyday activities.

Yes, we have separate groups for A2, B1, B2 and C1.
If you are in doubt, ask your the leader of the group. There will be time to do so at the start of the meetup. They will be able to advise you on whether you should move up or stay where you are for a little while longer.
If you have time, this blog post explains how a meetup works. The leader breaks everyone up into groups of 3 people per group. There is an different conversation theme consisting of 10 questions provided for every meetup. Everyone takes turns and answers every question of the theme - this is how the meetup is structured. The leader of the group will join your group for a while to check in on you and give you feedback - they will do this for every group and for every meetup. At the end of the hour, you can say goodbye to your partners and log off!
Absolutely. Please enter the main voice group, Allgemein Voice, 3 minutes before the start time.

The schedule is here.
The meetups are 1 hour long.

No, we use audio only. It's a bit strange at first, but once you get used to it you won't want to go back.
You need to be at least 18 years old to join. The topics and all the discussions are about everyday themes, or are totally family friendly, but the group is all adults, so I'd prefer to keep it that way, and not mix adults and under 18 year-olds.
You will be in a group of 3 with other members. There is a tutor who checks in on the progress of each group. So if there are 3 groups of 3 people per group for the session, the tutor will be with you and give you feedback on your German for 20 minutes. They will do this for every meetup.
No - there is no need once you are a member. You can simply show up and take part whenever you want!
