Intensive Speaking Courses

Choose from our selection of online intensive courses below and register. All courses take place online using Zoom and will have a maximum of 6 participants per course.
The focus of these courses is on improving speaking and conversation skills, improving your vocabulary, and using new expressions that will be useful in daily life. Class sizes are small, and the teacher will engage you through a variety of exercises, games, and interesting speaking topics. The courses are taught by experienced German teachers, who will give interesting and challenging exercises and provide a lively atmosphere.
Midweek Courses

Courses take place online over 5 days spread over 2 weeks.

Why? Well, we know that learning German in the evenings after work is tiring, this is why we spread the course over 2 weeks, instead of having you do 5 days in a row. Do 3 days on week 1, and 2 days on week 2.

Get some rest over the weekend and absorb the German you have learned and come to us fresh.

Weekend Courses

If you do not have any time during the week, or you think you will be too tired in the evenings, try our weekend courses.

Weekend courses take place from
10am to 3pm on both Saturday and Sunday.

These are intense but you will learn a lot in a short amount of time. You will get a break for lunch of course!

For this course, we purchase an ebook for you. It is included in the cost.

FAQ

What are the minimum requirements?

The courses are focuses on improving conversation, so are intended as booster courses. You should ideally have already completed the level of the course you are joining. If you have already completed A2, for example, you can join the A2 course. If you feel your level is good enough, however, you can join the B1 course. If you are unsure, we recommend being a bit conservative and joining the level that you have already completed in the past.

Are the lessons 100% in German?

Mostly. For the A2 course the teacher can switch to English if the student needs more help. For the higher levels, the lessons will be mostly through German, unless there is a lot of difficulty in understanding a concept. The teachers will be strict to give you the benefit of speaking as much German as possible, but they will accommodate you if you need some explaining in English.

How do the lessons look?

They will look slightly different for each course, as each experienced teacher leans toward different methods/exercises based on their teaching preferences. We will survey the students before the courses, and the teacher will then adjust his or her courses accordingly based on this feedback. Depending on the feedback the teacher will decide whether to give homework or not.

Are the materials developed by the teachers?

Yes. The teachers create and develop the course material. For the B2 weekend course, we will buy an ebook for you that you will use for the lessons.
