The courses are focuses on improving conversation, so are intended as booster courses. You should ideally have already completed the level of the course you are joining. If you have already completed A2, for example, you can join the A2 course. If you feel your level is good enough, however, you can join the B1 course. If you are unsure, we recommend being a bit conservative and joining the level that you have already completed in the past.
Mostly. For the A2 course the teacher can switch to English if the student needs more help. For the higher levels, the lessons will be mostly through German, unless there is a lot of difficulty in understanding a concept. The teachers will be strict to give you the benefit of speaking as much German as possible, but they will accommodate you if you need some explaining in English.
They will look slightly different for each course, as each experienced teacher leans toward different methods/exercises based on their teaching preferences. We will survey the students before the courses, and the teacher will then adjust his or her courses accordingly based on this feedback. Depending on the feedback the teacher will decide whether to give homework or not.
Yes. The teachers create and develop the course material. For the B2 weekend course, we will buy an ebook for you that you will use for the lessons.
